Kiewit Shea Desalination (KSD) – Underground Solutions, Inc. was asked to perform utility locating and verification across three cities through North County San Diego to ensure safety and prevent any design changes due to conflicting existing utilities that may be in the path of the large pipeline project. USI, Inc. has excavated over 500 contracted potholes for this project and is now working with KSD on an on-call basis as new unexpected conflicts are encountered often. Making the information provided by Underground Solutions, Inc. very important to construction safety and schedule. It has been a pleasure to be a part of this project.
SR 178 Bakersfield, CA – T.Y. Lin International – Underground Solutions has been traveling to Bakersfield for the last 5-7 years in order to facilitate all the growth and infrastructure being built, this recent project was completed for T.Y. Lin International. USI spent two weeks locating and verifying roughly 50 utility potholes in preparation of the SR 178 freeway expansion.
San Diego Mid-Coast Trolley expansion – Parsons Brinckerhoff, Inc. & Dokken Engineering – Underground Solutions, Inc. has been working on Locating all Wet and Dry utilities for the expansion of the Mid Coast Trolley transit system in San Diego, CA, another very exciting project to be involved with.
